This site allows you to make math drills specific to your childs needs. If you feel they need to work on their math foundations such as addition or subtraction, this is a great place to look to.

Check out the free material and instructional videos at  JUMP MATH. JUMP has been proven to help students progress and follows the MB curriculum. At non for profit ( just printing cost) parents can order in full curriculum workbooks to aid in their students growth. 

 

 

 

KHAN ACADEMY is another great site for serious practice. It requires dedication but gives your child access to an online math program that challenges your child according to their level, giving small tests and online practice while showing your child their success rate and aiding parents in the steps necessary for Mathematical growth.

 

 

 

 

SPELLING CITY

This is the site we will be using for spelling practice! Students can go to this link and type in Miss. Rosevear and our classroom spelling lists will appear.  Here students can take pretest, practice hearing and spelling the word and play educational spelling games to help them remember the correct spelling.

 

 

 

 

READING SITES:

Our class uses TUMBLEbooks and they LOVE IT!

Tumblebooks is an educational site that allows students access to over 1,000 online books and comprehension questions and games associated with the given reading material. Students can have the story read to them by clicking a tumble book story just play education games on this site. This site is great because of its interactive abilities and access to familiar and famous, beloved children's authors such as Melanie Watt and Robert Munsch.

PBS KIDS -   Ebooks, Read Alongs and Learning Games

 

 

 

Working on Phonics ( letter sounds) Check out this site. it has access to read alouds and games, all for free.  

 

 

 

There will also be math games to be played at home available for download at a later date. Please check back often, and remember any updates will be posted on the HOME page, highlighted in Yellow.

 

Sometimes I will post instructions for a simple hands on educational class game we have been playing. These will require minimal supplies and will aid your child in practicing their new skills.
